Location of President Abraham Lincoln's assasination in 1865; the restored site remains a functioning theater. Across the street is Petersen House, where the wounded President later died. Advance tickets are $2.50. A limited number of free tickets are available at the Ford’s Theatre Box Office beginning at 8:30 a.m. for same-day tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.
