Welcome to Arlington!
On behalf of the mEducation Alliance and the other co-hosts for the 14th annual mEducation Alliance Symposium - "STEMtastic Adventures!" we are delighted to welcome you to Arlington County, Virginia.
Situated directly across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C., Arlington offers visitors a mix of big-city excitement and small-town charm. It boasts dazzling high-rises and iconic landmarks, lush green spaces and lively streetscapes, global dining and hip nightlife — all just steps from the nation’s capital. A close-knit and welcoming community, Arlington's 26 square miles are home to an array of vibrant, walkable neighborhoods conveniently located on the region's Metro system, plus an incredible variety of things to do.
You’ve just finished your engineering degree — and will be the first college graduate in your family! You’ve helped discover a new exoplanet, Astralara, in the Alpha Centauri star system! Your team figured out how to make a solar panel 50% more efficient – at half the cost! Your digitally printed dog, Zero, won a top award at the Global AI Animal Show.
What an adventure it has been! How’d you do it?
It started with your early introduction to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and was accelerated by having access to high-quality content and inspirational guidance by teachers and other role models.
For the mEducation Alliance’s 14th annual Symposium, we are looking for exceptional presenters and enthusiastic attendees interested in propelling learners on STEMtastic Adventures!
