Did you know the capital area is called the “City of Trees”?
Welcome to Arlington!
On behalf of the mEducation Alliance (mEA) and the other co-hosts of our 15th annual Symposium, themed this year as the "Marvelous Education Alliance", we are delighted to welcome you to Arlington County, Virginia.
Situated directly across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C., Arlington offers visitors a mix of big-city excitement and small-town charm. It boasts dazzling high-rises and iconic landmarks, lush green spaces and lively streetscapes, global dining and hip nightlife — all just steps from the nation’s capital. A close-knit and welcoming community, Arlington's 26 square miles are home to an array of vibrant, walkable neighborhoods conveniently located on the region's Metro system, plus an incredible variety of things to do.
We invite you to join us to celebrate how MARVELOUS the individuals and organizations that are part of the mEA family: to hear firsthand about their work – and share your own experiences.
As with our prior highly participatory events, this Symposium will bring together approximately 250 attendees with representation from: national governments, other policymakers at international and regional organizations, technology and innovation experts from non- and for-profit institutions, funders, and researchers.
Presentation Proposals:
Tell us in your presentation proposal what is Marvelous about your education innovation (tech or non-tech). Those accepted will be notified and presentations grouped under similar track themes. For more information, including about likely event sub-themes, please visit the event's web page.
