Located in Ballston, the Fred Schnider Gallery of Art features exhibitions of artists throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area with a diverse range of media and styles, through a continual evolution of short-term exhibits. Funded by the Fred Schnider Investments Group, this gallery's goal is to foster relationships between artists, art lovers and the local community.

2. Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington

Located in Virginia Square, the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington (often referred to as MoCA) is a non-profit contemporary visual arts center that includes nine exhibition galleries, working studios for twelve artists, and three classrooms. At 17,000 square feet, the museum is one of the largest non-federal venues for contemporary art in the Washington metropolitan area. MoCA's mission is to enrich community life by connecting the public with contemporary art and artists through exhibitions, educational programs, and artist residencies.

In addition to rotating exhibits, one of MoCA's event spaces features Tiffany Stained Glass Windows and is often the location of "Yoga in the Galleries" and other community events.

3. Alliance Gallery

Located in Clarendon, the Alliance Gallery is a new boutique space that will feature local and regional juried art shows and community partnership exhibitions. Run by the Arlington Artists Alliance and nestled in The Crossing Clarendon shopping mall, this gallery will champion a vibrant local visual arts community by providing exhibition space for Arlington's artists of all kinds.

4. Mason Exhibitions Arlington

Located in Virginia Square, Mason Exhibitions Arlington is located two blocks from George Mason University's Mason Square campus and primarily features international contemporary artists who engage social issues in their work.
