Celebrating Black History Month
History of the Ethiopian Community in Arlington | Feb. 13
Celebrate Black History month by exploring the history behind the Ethiopian community in Arlington on Feb. 13 at 7:00 p.m. at the Reinsch Library Auditorium (Marymount University). Ethiopians have been in Arlington County for at least 50 years. The Arlington Historical Society's speaker, Kidist Ebenezer, will shed light on the factors driving migration to the U.S. and to Arlington specifically.
Feel the Heritage Festival | Feb. 22
Arlington's 31st annual Feel the Heritage Festival will be held on Feb. 22 from noon to 5:00 p.m. at the Charles Drew Community Center. The festival welcomes hundreds each year to learn about the Arlington’s historically African American neighborhoods while enjoying live entertainment, delicious food and dozens of vendors.

Love-Themed Paint & Sip | Through Feb.
Head on over to MUSE Paint Bar in Ballston Quarter for love-themed paint and sip opportunities all month long. Prices vary depending on the session. MUSE is the perfect place to relax and get creative with the ones you love.
Valentine's Cards & Boxes | Feb. 1
Share the love with homemade Valentine's cards and boxes! Using decorative paper, stickers, and a variety of other supplies, you can create something from the heart with Arlington County Parks & Recreation at Arlington Mill Community Center on Feb. 1 at 10:00 a.m. Each person (including adults) attending the program needs to register, and all children must be supervised by a participating adult.

Celebrate friendship and fun this Galentine's Day at Inca Social Feb. 13 all-day long! Gather your girls and enjoy a night filled with laughter, love, and incredible specials just for you.
Galentine's Craft & Cocktail | Feb. 14
Join Beauty Champagne and Sugar for a "Galentine’s Craft & Cocktail" on Feb. 14 from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. For $40 (tax and tip inclusive), guests can enjoy a sparkling cocktail, get a “cheeky” cookie and all the supplies to paint two wine glasses. Reservations and pre-payment required here.
Love at the Cinema | Feb. 15
Treat your loved one to a concert of some of the most romantic film scores of all time by the National Chamber Ensemble on Feb. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Gunston Arts Center. Renowned choreographer, Lucy Bowen McCauley has been commissioned to create two new works featuring Manish Chauhan and Miku Hirayama both members of Peridance Contemporary Dance Company in New York that will bring the union of music and dance together. Valentine's Goat Social | Feb. 15
Grab your Valentine, Galentine, family, or friends, and join Beth A. Wolfe Yoga for a fun-filled morning of goat therapy on Feb. 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church. Ben Bailey at Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse | Feb. 2
Ben Bailey, known for hosting the Emmy-award-winning game show Cash Cab, is coming to the Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse on Feb. 2. Showtime begins at 7:00 p.m. and doors open at 6:00 p.m. Admission is 21 and over, unless accompanied by a parent. Get tickets ahead of time here.
In the Heights | Beginning Feb. 11
The joyous Tony Award-winning triumph by Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) and Quiara Alegría Hudes (Daphne’s Dive), In the Heights, is being put on by Arlington staple, Signature Theatre beginning Feb. 11. Lights up on Washington Heights, NYC where the streets are full of music, and everybody’s got a dream. Yoga in the Galleries | Saturdays
Yoga in the Galleries is a 60-minute yoga session designed to inspire and uplift at the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington. Hosted in the beautiful Tiffany Gallery every Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m., you will be invited to move your body towards a presence with your inner creative. At the end of each flowing session, you will be invited to journal, doodle, draw or meditate.

Arlington Farmers Market | Saturdays
One of the largest markets in the region, the FRESHFARM Arlington Market is a year-round weekly celebration of local food that takes place Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Courthouse. Stop by this popular market and pick up anything from farmstead goat cheese to pastured bison.

Garage Racing National Championships | Feb. 22
