Tucked behind the large movie screen is the original theater stage with lighting, storage and a green room.
The David M. Brown Arlington Planetarium
When you want attendees to have stars in their eyes, The Arlington Planetarium, operated by Arlington Public Schools, is the right location for a private group show that’s out of this world.

Van Metre Hall at Mason Square, George Mason University
Van Metre Hall at Mason Square, George Mason University has a sleek 300-seat auditorium with tiered seating.The auditorium offers state-of-the-art in-room or portable audiovisual equipment for your event needs, and the university’s technical staff can assist with all of your needs including presentations, panels and video recording. The auditorium also has the capability to host a panel discussion on stage.
Marymount University Conference Center
Marymount University’s Ballston Center features a theater-style auditorium along with bright, contemporary meeting spaces for groups from 10 to 150, including classrooms and conference rooms.
The university offers audiovisual equipment rental and staff assistance, and on-site catering service is available.
Synetic Theater
Conveniently located next to the Crystal City Metro, Synetic Theater offers multiple spaces for rental when its theater company is not rehearsing or running one of its award-winning shows.
The Crystal City Theater holds 350 audience members and offers a 1,300 square-foot stage with an adjacent loading dock. Backstage features a green room, three dressing rooms, restrooms and showers.
Studio Violet has mirrored rehearsal spaces including a marley floor, dressing rooms and restrooms.
UVA Darden Sands Family Grounds
Situated on the top two floors of a 31-floor high-rise in Arlington’s Rosslyn neighborhood, University of Virginia Darden School of Business state-of-the-art learning location has panoramic views of Washington, D.C. and the region.
Its 2,425-square-foot theater seats up to 260, and two-tiered classrooms with presentation equipment seat 72 or 95 attendees. Darden also offers chef-created seasonal fare for meals and receptions.
Virginia Tech National Capital Region Executive Briefing Center
Located in the Virginia Tech Research Center in Arlington’s Ballston neighborhood, the Executive Briefing Center is just a short walk from Metro. The center’s tiered 1,900 square-foot classroom holds 55 people and has a 20-foot, ultra-high-resolution projection screen with 3D capability. The facility also has several additional well-equipped meeting rooms with large windows.
Women in Military Service for America Memorial
Offering one-of-a-kind historic views, the Women in Military Service for America Memorial stands at the ceremonial entrance to Arlington National Cemetery and honors women who have defended America throughout history.
Its 196-seat theater has a laser projector, wireless microphones, streaming and recording capabilities and press boxes. Just outside the theater, meeting attendees can experience exhibits showing the collective history of women in the military along with the individual stories of registered servicewomen.
