Marine Corps Marathon | October 29

Whether you’re a runner or cheering for one, join in on the fun! The Marine Corps Marathon is one of the country's largest marathons, hosted annually in Arlington and the nation's capital. The MCM offers an experience for runners to tour the nation's most recognizable landmarks while being supported by the men and women of the United States Marine Corps.

Army Ten-Miler | October 8

The Army’s annual Army Ten-Miler Race and Expo attract military, civilians, wheelchair athletes and wounded warrior athletes. The race, open to the public and featuring a Youth Run, also includes a two-day Expo with deals on clothing, shoes, accessories, and other health and fitness items. Hear performances from The Old Guard Drill Team and Fife and Drum Corps too!

Arlington Restaurant Week | October 16-23

Enjoy some of the best food the area has to offer at special prices! Hosted by the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, the annual Arlington Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to take the week to explore the diverse restaurant scene in Arlington and find a new go-to place for dining out.

Arlington Collective ART WALK 2023 | October 5

The "Arlington Art Walk" is a self-guided art experience that connects local galleries, artist studios and cultural events. The walk will begin at Mason Exhibitions and go from 3 to 7 p.m. Join in on the fun and enjoy Arlington's local art!

Arlington Public Library Author Talk: Peter Harnik | October 10

Learn the history of the creation of the W&OD Trail in Arlington. A life-long environmental activist, Peter Harnik is co-founder of the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, where he served for 10 years as vice president. Make your way to Central Library for this exciting and educational event!

Rosslyn Fall Fest | October 14

Welcome the season with Fall Fest on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 1-6 p.m. at Gateway Park! Previously known as Cider Fest, the Rosslyn BID is expanding this fall-favorite event with even more fun as the weather chills and the leaves change.

The 2023 Festival Latinoamericano will be held on Sun., Oct. 15, from 1-5 p.m. at Arlington Mill Community Center. The festival welcomes hundreds each year and will include a full array of live music and dance, great local vendors, interactive children’s entertainment, delicious food, and exciting community spirit.

Rocky Horror Drag Show | October 26

Get into the spirit of Halloween with Rosslyn’s Rocky Horror Drag Show on Thursday, Oct. 26 from 6:30-8 p.m. featuring drag queen Shi-Queeta Lee and her all-star cast!

Howl-O-Ween | October 27

The Rosslyn BID and the Rosslyn Dog Owners Group (R-DOGS) are teaming up for Howl-O-Ween, a Halloween-themed evening of dog-friendly activities, treats, and fun at the Gateway Park Interim Dog Park. Enjoy a variety of pet-themed vendors, raffles, giveaways to share with your pups and their annual dog costume contest!

WHINO Halloween Party | October 28

Get ready for a spine-tingling Halloween bash like no other! Join WHINO for a hauntingly good time as DJ Cabezon takes the stage, spinning the best beats from every corner of the musical spectrum.

Makers Market | October 1

Stop by Westpost for a fun afternoon of outdoor shopping on the plaza! This neighborhood event is free to attend and will feature hand-made and craft goods from over 20 artists and creators, as well as live music.

Fall Market at Metropolitan Park | Tuesdays
