UVA Darden Sands Family Grounds offers two floors of state-of-the-art meeting space in a chic environment. This new campus and meeting venue has panoramic views of Washington, D.C., and versatile space for networking, receptions, educational, and other special events for up to 250 guests. The cutting-edge meeting facility also provides a professional learning environment with built-in presentation equipment and classroom setups, as well as breakout spaces throughout to facilitate collaboration. UVA Darden offers a la carte events as well as the Day Meeting Package, which includes furnished meeting space, continuous refreshment breaks with unlimited beverages and snacks, chef-created seasonal lunches, presentation equipment, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a dedicated conference manager.
Columbia Island Marina
Bring your attendees close to nature at the Columbia Island Marina, an indoor-outdoor venue for meals and social events. Managed by the National Park Service, the marina is located along the Potomac River in the beautiful Lyndon B. Johnson Memorial Grove just north of Reagan National Airport. With views of the Pentagon, D.C., and the river, the marina can accommodate 50 outside and 25 inside and offers a variety of onsite catering options.
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Washington DC - Crystal City
The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Washington DC - Crystal City also affords a great vantage point of DC. This hotel has over 7,200 total square feet of meeting and function space in its Windows Over Washington Collection with unique scenes of the area. The hotel is also home to the region’s only revolving restaurant, the Skydome, with wonderful panoramas of D.C. and the region, plus group dining options.
Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel
The Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel is located in Arlington’s Columbia Pike neighborhood and has 405 guest rooms, 11 suites, six meeting rooms, and 20,599 sq. ft. of total meeting space on 16 floors. Named “the Best View in Washington” by many news outlets, Top of the Town affords unobstructed vistas of the monuments and the Potomac River from its perch in the Rosslyn neighborhood. The event site features 12-foot-high windows and an outdoor terrace. A popular wedding venue, Top of the Town is regularly rented for company retreats, luncheons, holiday parties, awards dinners, presentations, meetings, and team building events for up to 180. Onsite amenities include a marble foyer and hallway, a dedicated express elevator from the ground level to the penthouse, a professional sound system, tables and chairs, magnificent chandeliers, built-in window seating, and onsite parking.
