Lady Bird Johnson Park
Overview
Lady Bird Johnson Park is located on an island in the Potomac River near the Pentagon. The island is part of the Washington, D.C., however it is much closer to the Virginia side of the river.
There are two memorials inside Lady Bird Johnson Park: the Lyndon Baines Johnson Memorial Grove and the Navy - Merchant Marine Memorial.
The park is also home to thousands of daffodils and tulips each spring and spectacular foliage in the fall. Visitors are welcome to photograph, picnic and relax.
