Overview
During her residency, Negar Ahkami has been working on Y'All Go Rhythm!, an installation of interactive dance platforms inspired by the dynamic patterns in Persian architecture and the exuberant dancing at Iranian-American gatherings from her youth. Drawing on her cultural heritage, Negar explores themes of hospitality, universal connection, resilience, hope, playfulness, and release. She invites you to feel the movement and dance, as you feel inspired.
