Arlington strives to be a welcoming and inclusive destination for all residents and visitors. The county received a 100% rating in 2024 for LGBTQ+ rights by the Human Rights Campaign Municipality Equality Index, was named the #1 Best Town in Virginia for LGBT Families by Movoto, and is a recommended travel destination by Passport Magazine.
